Morgan Necaise is an Education and Data Specialist for the NASA Astro Camp Community Partners (ACCP) Program.
Before joining the ACCP, Morgan was a Special Education Department Head, lead Special Education teacher, and Head Athletic Coach in Maui, Hawai'i. Throughout Ms. Necaise's ten years of experience as a professional educator, she has been able to follow her passion for teaching and coaching in unique places, like the islands of Hawai'i and coastal Mississippi. During her years of teaching and coaching in college, she discovered the passion and importance of STEM and pursued an interest in education beyond athletics and sports.
As an Education and Data Specialist, Ms. Necaise supports departmental efforts that benefit the teaching and learning mission of the NASA ACCP Program. THE NASA ACCP program is an opportunity for all Youth Service Organizations to bring NASA STEM Engagement-Science Mission activities to grades K-12 in their community.
In addition to collecting and aggregating program data, Morgan assists the team in providing free virtual/hybrid professional developments for educators, leaders, and facilitators using the uniquely developed 2023 ACCP Facilitators Guide. The guide provides support, making NASA STEM lessons, resources, and challenges accessible to all while relying on proven NASA STEM ASTRO CAMP® Methodology.
Following a driven passion for STEM and NASA Science, Morgan can better support the NASA ACCP team and resources which consist of student-centered, standards-based STEAM activities that utilize NASA resources to give educators, leaders, and facilitators everything they need for engaging, high-quality STEM learning experiences for all students. Morgan, along with the NASA ACCP team, help students foster career dreams of tomorrow and develop life-changing goals through Next Generation Science, Math, and Technology/Engineering skills by bringing NASA ACCP to community program sites, nationally and internationally!
